PokeCraft is still a nice enough resource pack that changes the look of many monsters throughout the game, making them look like critters right out of Pokemon. While the original creator of PokeCraft has since passed on the project to another resource pack enthusiast, PokeCraft resource pack is still seeing regular updates and should work fine with even the latest version of Minecraft, which is 1.8. It is a meager 16x resource pack which adds no new elements to the game, so installing it is easy enough as well.
How to install Pokecraft Resource Pack for Minecraft
Download Resource Pack in ZIP file format and do not Unzip it
Make sure your Minecraft is updated to 1.6 or higher
Go to minecraft/resourcepacks where minecraft stores all resource packs. This step depends on your operating system:
Windows: %AppData%/.minecraft/resourcepacks
Linux: ~/.minecraft/resourcepacks (This folder may be hidden in the Home Folder)
Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/resourcepacks (This folder may be hidden)
Put the resource pack (ZIP file) in the opened folder
The resource pack is applied after a few seconds.
