The MarvelousCraft Resource Pack for Minecraft may not have been created by an interior decorator, but it is enough to make interior decorators everywhere green with envy. Not just green, lime green, chartreuse. Whereas in the original Minecraft, the night sky just looks like some dark blue pixels, the night sky with the MarvelousCraft Resource Pack looks so real that it makes you want to howl at the moon and wish upon a star. A library with brick walls and bookshelves looks so cozy that you will wish that you could step into the screen and curl up next to the fireplace, where you can see the colors and textures of the flames.
It’s not afraid to stray from the vanilla Minecraft look and in doing so it pulls off some very elegant visuals that make the game look unlike ever before. All said and done, if you’re looking for a well-built and solid texture pack that has a variety of features to offer then MarvelousCraft will probably live up to most of your needs.
How to install Resource Pack for Minecraft
Download Resource Pack in ZIP file format and do not Unzip it
Download and Install Optifine HD or MC Patcher for better resource pack performance.
Go to minecraft/resourcepacks where minecraft stores all resource packs. This step depends on your operating system:
Windows: %AppData%/.minecraft/resourcepacks
Linux: ~/.minecraft/resourcepacks (This folder may be hidden in the Home Folder)
Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/resourcepacks (This folder may be hidden)
Put the resource pack (ZIP file) in the opened folder
The resource pack is applied after a few seconds.
